Private Practice specializing in hearing amplification is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their growing team. Hearing Associates, P.C. provides friendly, personalized care for their patients. They promise to deliver outstanding client care and state-of-the-art hearing instruments to best help their patients. The individual in this role will answer inquiries from patients over the phone and in person, handle insurance issues, schedule appointments, maintain databases, and perform other administrative duties for the office.

You Will:

  • Primary responsibility is to solicit appointments through telemarketing techniques.
  • Answer inquiries and obtain information from patients
  • Handle insurance issues, schedule appointments, maintain databases, and other administrative duties
  • Maintain all daily, weekly and monthly reports and tracking documents as directed
  • Handle a variety of administrative tasks to include typing, filing, and inventory.

You Will Need:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of office experience in a patient-driven industry preferred
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required. Technical training in office administration and computer programs helpful
  • Good problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required
  • Computer knowledge is required - Microsoft Office Programs, Ability to type 30-40 WPM preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Customer service orientation
  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills. Superior multi-tasking
  • Excellent communication skills required
